Smutz is pronounced “Smoots.” Around the shop, you may see the playful reminder: Say “Smoots.” The name belongs to the family behind Smutz Girls Bakery, a mom-and-four-daughters bakery with roots in farmers markets, porch pickups, and custom desserts.

Menu and Daily Items
What is usually on the menu?
The walk-in menu includes cookies, cinnamon rolls, crepes, croissants, brownies, bars, coffee, espresso drinks, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and rotating seasonal items. Some items and flavors may change, and popular treats may sell out.Â
Do you have a coffee bar?
Yes. We have a coffee bar Grand Haven customers can visit for espresso-based drinks, flavored lattes, iced drinks, drip coffee, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. The coffee program is meant to pair with baked goods, crepes, croissants, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and other treats.

Custom Orders
Do you take custom orders?
Yes. Smutz Girls Bakery takes custom dessert requests for celebrations and gifts. Core custom options include custom cookies Grand Haven customers can request for themes and party favors, custom cakes Grand Haven celebrations may need for birthdays or showers, custom cupcakes and cakes, themed cookie sets, dessert trays, holiday boxes, and other celebration sweets when feasible.

Custom orders require lead time, and earlier is better. The exact minimum lead time by product type is still needed from the client before publishing. A team member should review the request and follow up personally. A deposit may be required for custom orders.
